Operating originally in Vauxhall, London, later moving to Lambeth, in 1882 it opened a factory in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, in the centre of English pottery. From 1853 to 1902 its wares were marked Doulton & Co., then from 1902, when a royal warrant was given, Royal Doulton.The HN numbering sequence is named after Harry Nixon (1886-1955), head of the Royal Doulton painting department who joined Doulton in 1900.Condition: Excellent, there are no faults on the figurine at all.Price: R 975.00 Inc Vat.
